Matthew Lamp

Matthew (Matt) P. Lamp – Matt concentrates on real estate matters and estates.  He represents clients in drafting commercial and residential contracts of sale, performs title exams, real estate closings, and foreclosures.  Has experience in estate administration, and preparation of will and powers of attorney.

In past years Matt has served as a panel attorney for the Allegany/Garret County Public Defender’s Office, representing clients in criminal defense and child in need of assistance cases.  Matt also has experience in child custody and adoption.

Matt served as law clerk to Judge Gary G. Leasure of the Circuit Court for Allegany County, Maryland from 2013-2016.  He is a member of the Young Lawyers sections of the Kentucky and Maryland State Bar Associations.  He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar on April 30, 2010 and the Maryland Bar on June 15, 2011.  Matt is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar, to which he was admitted on August 6, 2012.  Matt is a 2006 graduate of Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland, magna cum laude, with a degree in Law and Society/Political Science.  He attended law school at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, graduating in 2009.

Matt was born in Cumberland, Maryland on January 18, 1984, and grew up in Ellerslie, Maryland.  He currently resides in Bedford, Pennsylvania with his wife Breann, and their daughter Matilynn.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys reading, playing tennis, going to the movies, riding horses, and playing board games.
